Ohhhh Fall. There is something about this season that gets everyone excited to indulge. That’s where Salt and Sugar Bakery comes in. We have some amazing limited-time cookies that we have rolled out for autumn. It was actually hard to only pick three flavors, since I could probably make a business of making just Fall-themed cookies all year long. Call me basic, it’s fine with me. Pumpkin Snickerdoodle

Fall means pumpkins. So we took a spin on the traditional snickerdoodle and made a yummy pumpkin snickerdoodle flavor. These cookies are fluffy and chewy at the same time. The perfect amount of cinnamon and some other pumpkin pie spices will almost make you think you’re eating pumpkin pie.

Apple Crisp

Personally, I think apple is better than pumpkin this time of year. So I took my favorite apple crisp recipe and turned it into a cookie! These have a similar base to our Cranberry Oatmeal cookie, which I dubbed as a “breakfast cookie” even though I don’t think that’s a real thing. But, I’m just saying, if you wanted to eat these with coffee in the morning, I wouldn’t judge.

Chocolate Stout

This cookie isn’t really a typical “Fall” flavor, but I’m making it one from now on. My husband and I just recently came back from a 12 day tour of Ireland, where we drank our weight in Guinness. Every time I took a sip, I thought about how perfect this would work with a chocolate cookie. I came home and immediately started testing out recipes and came up with the perfect mix of fudgy and fluffy. The beer flavor is not overpowering, it just adds a bit of complexity to the chocolate flavor. We’re also offering this cookie with an Irish Cream drizzle, which gives it that extra bump in flavor that is perfect with a big bowl of vanilla ice cream.
